The true delight is in the finding out rather than in the knowing.
— Isaac Asimov

My values include working with you as a complex, dimensional, and unique individual.

I’m not the therapist whose primary focus is making you “better,” or “happy”. While I sincerely hope that these are a part of your experience, I am more interested in all that evolves in our work together. What I will provide is curiosity, authenticity, and a space for you to explore and expand all different parts of your psyche and yourself.

I am client-centered, and use what you bring in to the session to guide our work together. I work intuitively within the relationship and am an active participant in your therapeutic process. I bring a sense of wonder, creativity, and spontaneity into our sessions. I will work with you to become connected with your genuine truth. I have worked extensively with complex trauma, substance use, and a variety of identity issues. I identify with the wounded healer archetype and value felt sense experience. Believe it or not peeps, healing can be deep, rich, and alive!

I honor and respect the potential of this work, so I continue to explore and expand my understanding of the psyche. I do this through my involvement with t-group, gestalt awareness, and bodywork. All of which respect exploring issues around gender dynamics, sexuality, race, and ability. The groups I am a part of operate with a combination of direct dialogue, honest communication, and a focus on what’s coming forward in present relational dynamics.
