Relationship is the mirror in which the self is revealed
— Jiddu Krishnamurti

What would life be like if you could give yourself the same care and compassion you give others?

Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or a continuation of your therapy journey, I want to acknowledge the time you are taking to support yourself by seeking change. I think of therapy as a commitment to making space for things that often don’t get enough space in everyday life— space settle into oneself, to take pause, to be witnessed, to be with experiences and support awareness as it emerges. I believe that awareness leads to choice, and that in therapy we can co-create a space to explore your experiences, building greater awareness of needs, boundaries, and patterns of experience. And I believe that for many of us, the simple act of caring for ourselves in this way can be radical.

Perhaps you’re seeking therapy to address a specific issue like anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationships, parenting, or major life transitions. Or you want to explore ways to live more authentically in alignment with your dreams and values. Wherever you happen to be, therapy is a dynamic process that can support you in learning more about yourself.

I work with individuals (adults and adolescents), couples, and families. My therapy is informed by gestalt practices, theories of attachment, liberation psychology, and a connection to nature. As a relational and intersectional therapist I believe my lived experience impacts the therapeutic relationship. I offer experientially grounded therapy related to parenting, cross-cultural relationships, pregnancy and postpartum experiences, donor-conceived children and adoptees, racial identity, internalized oppression, gender & sexuality, sex work, self-esteem, complex trauma, and estrangement. I work from a harm-reductionist, sex-positive framework rooted in my experience as a sexual health educator. I believe that a good fit is essential to good therapy, and welcome you to reach out for a free phone consultation before we meet.
