Being oppressed means the absence of choices.

I’m not your mother’s psychotherapist.

I work with individuals, couples and groups who identify as outsiders, punks, underdogs, misfits, and survivors.  If there is any part of you that you find shameful, confusing, embarrassing, or too dark to talk about, then youʼre in the right place. Over time, you may find relief and healing by meeting these parts with an attitude of curiosity, compassion and love. Therapy is a unique process of reflection and self-discovery that can bring us into direct contact with our experience of being fully alive in the present moment.

Clients describe me as warm, engaging, challenging, kind, creative, playful, and intuitive. I offer a safe and healing space in which to move at your own pace. By using your experience as the focal point of our work, we will come up with active ways to expand your awareness, and confront whatever is keeping you from the increased creativity, growth and satisfaction that you seek.

I work with artists, activists, teenagers, immigrants, dieting survivors, couples of all kinds, bicultural identities, money matters, sexual outsiders, grief and loss, body size issues, PTSD, trauma, anger management, substance abuse, sex and love addiction, depression, anxiety, adult children, LGBTQI/gender identity, and eating disorders.
