Owning our story can be hard but not nearly as difficult as spending our lives running from it. Embracing our vulnerabilities is risky but not nearly as dangerous as giving up on love and belonging and joy—the experiences that make us the most vulnerable. Only when we are brave enough to explore the darkness will we discover the infinite power of our light.
— Brene Brown

USING EXPERIENTIAL AND MIND-BODY-SPIRIT APPROACHES, I HELP CLIENTS RECLAIM THEIR VOICE AND SELF-WORTH AND EMBODY THEIR TRUEST AND MOST NATURAL EXPRESSION OF THEMSELVES.

Life can be challenging sometimes, and it’s vulnerable to seek help and support. I understand this because I’ve been there myself. But whatever you are going through, you don’t have to do it alone. We can meet where you are together, and transform your pain or challenge into an opportunity for self-discovery, healing, transformation, and empowerment.

I hold a compassionate place for those who feel silenced or feel that they don’t belong and for people who have experienced bullying, emotional or physical abuse or neglect. I specialize in and have experience working with social anxiety, general anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, and grief. I also co-facilitate a therapy group for people with Social Anxiety, Shyness, and/or Sensitivity. I work with adults, adolescents and children. With children I use play therapy, an engaging and effective way to help children heal and regain self-confidence.

I welcome diversity of all kinds. I am multicultural and understand the complexities that arise with many identities. I am also a musician, and I love helping individuals access their unique creative potential, whether through the arts or by embodying their truest expression of self in their everyday life. My therapeutic perspective is sex-positive, inclusive, holistic, and influenced by feminist and queer perspectives. My approach is warm, intuitive and creative and is grounded in Gestalt, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Transpersonal and Buddhist wisdom.

Please contact me to set up a free 15 minute phone consultation. I am open to any questions you might have on how I might be able to help you.

I also provide therapy in Spanish!
